I am Bridget Ampong. 24 years old registered Nurse currently doing my National service at Lekma hospital. I love making beads and Im starting a business that seeks to integrate health into beauty (“BoLife” – look good)

Growing up hasn’t been rosy. It was all good till daddy lost his sight when I was just 6 years and in primary one along side with my two brothers. We lived in wooden structures then were our feet served as feeds for mice. Whatever we went through during those times is definitely a story for another day.

Kudos to The Super Woman (My Mom) who stood so strong for us and never let the family down. That’s the power of a strong woman and I can see that trait in me. She has given me a good home training but that mentorship when it comes to what I want to attain has been a bit of a challenge.

My zeal to change my family’s story and starting a new business has been a fearful one for me till I joined the eve community. It has been one that has changed my entire perspective and given me the inner strength to carry on.

I sometimes feel I don’t fit into certain communities due to my background till I chanced one on post by @evefestivalgh that said ” Eve is for every Ghanaian woman” in July,2022 and I felt belonged.

How has EVE impacted my life:

I’m looking forward for more of what I’ve benefited from this community.

Regards,
Bridget.
