Amtus-Sabooh is currently the Women’s Commissioner of the Ghana University Students’ Association (USAG). She has a BA in Political Science from the University of Ghana. She is a bright, smart and intelligent young woman fueled by passion, compassion, dedication and hard work.

She is also a student leader recipient of the Ashanti Regional Council of Student Representatives’ National Student Leader of the Year ’21 Award, where she served as Vice President of the region’s literary group in 2014.
He is currently a National Service Person with Microfinance and Small Loans, Ghana Office of the President (MASLOC) as a Human Resources Assistant and Assistant to the Ghanaian Minister of Works and Housing. She has experience in media (mass media and social media) from when she worked as a member of the press corps for the 2018 Harvard Model United Nations and her days as a TV host for the children’s channel, Ghana TV.

She worked as an intern in the Dean’s Office supervised by the Head of Career Guidance and Development in 2018 at Ashesi University, where she gained experience in career guidance. Amtu’s interests are the defense of women and children, politics, religion, history, youth development and entrepreneurship. He hopes that he can positively influence the lives of his constituents and also contribute his share to the development of Ghana.


Her project, The SHE Move, created in December 2019, was coined from the realization that ”SHE” in English is a pronoun for women, but when broken down into letters it really defines substance or nature. identity of a woman and unfortunately that is not often looked at; therefore, giving a meaning to the pronoun Strength, Harmony and Excellence. This project aims to equip young student leaders, as well as those interested, with skills that will help them provide the best service to students, as well as prepare them for leadership positions in the future.
